I am, as most you know, a big disney freak and mostly focus on thier theme parks as an intrest. Yesterday Space mountain turned twenty five years old. It took me a second to really think about the significance of this. Space mountain is still one of the most popular roller coasters in the country, even though in terms of speed and height it has been eclipsed several times over. Nearby Knotts Berry Farm and Magic Mountain have seen several coasters come and go. Coasters become outdated, or malfunction, they become a pain to upkeep. But Disney has this coaster running just as great as it did years ago, and even improved it with music a few years back. I congradulate all the Imagineers who ever worked on this attraction, and hope it stays open for many more years to come. their skill and attention to detail has proved that quality makes great rides, not height or loops. This is one of the big reasons I like Disney. So, heres to one of the best rides in the world. Happy birthday space mountain.

So I was singing in that barbershop show tonight and I am in that barbershop quartet right? Well the fucking Bass starts the damn song two notes higher than He was supposed too. Meaning that the rest of us were pretty much fucked. The tenor tried to keep the song in the right pitch and the baritone was just lost, while I tried to loose my balls and sing in the high ass key the bass had started in. About half way through the song we finally met in somewhere in the middle and finished the song. I thought it sounded like crap, but we still got some compliments. I will never sing with this quartet again i dont think
The rest of the show was a blast however. The guys got a wonderful round of applause when we finished "please Mr Columbus" with a kickline. and afterwards i had a gerat time at a after party. Lots of booze and stuff. Since it was a chorus party (even though 1/2 wasnt chorus) we did some singing. and a guy played guitar and we did some classic songs like leaving on a jet plane.
Then finally when i came home and opened the door i was treated to two completly new guys i hadnt seen before. they explained to me that a girl who was partying in my room had gotten really drunk and dissapeared. So everyone else who was partying in my room was out searching for this dumbass girl. I got to talking to them and it turns out these guys were pretty cool and are from the dorms, the also live in Northridge which is an adjacent city to ny hometown reseda. Anyway my room has aboout 40 empty beer cans laying about, a empty bottle of vodka in the freezer, and some more random bottles around the room. I will not clean this shit at all, this is really fucked up. I need to go to sleep cause my parents are in town and want to go to brunch in the morning. but since noone is home yet i know it is just a matter of time till they all come wake me up and scream gay fag into each others ear.

Well I was nearly right. Instead of my estimation of them getting home at 1:30 they got home at 3. Then they didnt go to sleep till 5am. there were nine total people in my room last night, mostly guys who would call each other gay fags and start punching each other. It was rather annoying. I dont think Ill ever use gay or fag in a derogitory way as long as I live (this is something i was trying to do anyway). One of the guys lit a cigarete on our electric stove which pissed me off because it made the whole room smell like burnt waffles and cigarette smoke.
so finaly i got to sleep at 5 and at 8 when i woke up and saw that i couldnt get out of bed without stepping on people I decided to conck out again. But this morning they picked up right where they left off with their dumbass comments to each other. These guys would be first in line to join the Punk-Nazis if their ever was such a movement. Lucky for me that today is friday and its a three day weekend. I believe I overheard some more folks were coming up. look, i am jumping with enhusiasm...

So I came home today around 2. Got one load of three laundrys done just in time to run out the door again, (And coincidentaly spill soda on my shirt half way to class). My roomates half of the room was miraculously clean, something that i shouldve taken as a omen of things to come. Anyway my two loads of laundry undone were sprawled out on my floor, as my finished load was sprawled out on my bed. Being as I was in a rush to get to class. So after class I went to the schools show "buried child" which was really cool. But while I usualy take pride in dressing up for shows, i happened to show up wearing my stained Tshirt and shorts. Afterwards I hung out with a few of my theater friends and a few of their friends. We went to go get frozen ice cream and we stood outside to eat it. Everyone in somewhat nice clothes and jackets (it was semi cold tonight) and me in my stained Tshirt and shorts, with frozen ice cream in my hands. After that we drove to a coofee shop about 300 yards away and stood around there just talking laughing and having a good time.
Then someone said "hey lets go to my place" and I being the man with no car was taken home (upon request by me) before they all got drunk.
I came home and opened my door and at first site was discusted by the mess I had left. Upon extened surveyance of the room i noticed one backpack that wasnt my roomates, a suitcase and two sleeping bags. So basicly right now i am cleaning my half of the room. Why? Because in an hour and a half three people who can barely stand will come through the door and puke on my couch, while three other somewhat drunk folks support them while they walk and try to keep them from choking on their vomit. Hopefully by the time they come ill be asleep and when they wake me up i can pull the covers over my head and theyll leave me alone. then tomorrow morning at 8 am i get to survey the damage as i try to step over the bodies and get ready for class. Hey and why dont we throw in a kicker: My parents are coming into town this weekend.

Coaster Con - plenty of coaster related things and fun.
Digital storytelling - Sounds like a blast.
Fiddler - I know will be fun.

Digital - tuition and has nothing to do with my major

Well I found a CO. (Co is short for co leader(co leader of a WOW (week of welcome) group (The group is made up wowies (new people to CP (cal poly))))) This means that the week before school starts 20 or so wowies will be following Kathryn and I around town while we show them all the cool places to go. We also take them to presentations about rape, alcohol, diversity and some stuff. Capped off at the end with a concert only for Wowies. Last year the long beach dub all stars played but they wont say who is this year. I wouldnt mind seeing a good punk band up there, but they have rules against moshing. Thats the good news. Save Ferris is playing here on thursday. thats the "hella" cool news.
Also Josh had me DL this tune and I gotta say its pretty addicting. The girl has a soothing voice.

My friend Ben is having major problems with his Ex but more importantly his Ex's family. From what I gather they are sycopathic overprotective scitzos. I think they passed it onto their daughter, Greta. they want her and Ben to stop talking to each other completly. It is unclear how greta feels about the whole ordeal, but my hunch says she enjoys the attention in a masochistic sorta way. Anyway his blog has a message to her which kinda describes a little peice of their drama.
In case you dont know ben he is a nice guy, but his new girl friend's parents hate him too. Ben, the bandit, the daughtersnatcher.

Adventures into cyber space contiue to get more exciting.
Today I finally figured out how Ws_FTP works and now i can actualy build my own page that isnt dependent on blogger or Geocities or nothing.
i do the HTML on my own computer and then upload it. it really dosent make any difference, but it sure as hell beats the hell out of geocities.
and dont worry if its sparce on content. I plan to update it very soon.

Poetry.com emailed me and told me I was being published in their "Best poems of 2002" book. so I had to authenticize my poem basicly saying it was my own original work. It is on 6-7 Tuesday Nights and usualy you can hear me yelling in the backround when they announce a contest or something. Also you can watch us on the KCPR webcam. Last week another guy and I played candyland in the studio while K and Andy did their show.

I believe some of us would refer to them as Jesus FREAKS). I know some of these guys and they are okay, but some things they do piss me off. Like the other day, one person wanted lunch and the other didnt and so we had to "break for ten minutes" and then when we met up they didnt just apologise they had a lengthy discussion about their faults and what they wanted from their life. WHAT FUCKING BS. for christs sake! JESUS!

Am i exempt because i play them all. HAHA well I wish I was better at guitar and Piano. Also a instrument i havent lengthily experimented with that i would like to would be trumpet.
